![]() Bluebonnet Up-CloseThe tell-tale sign of a Texas Easter was looming in my backyard, so of course I HAD to capture it! | ![]() SunriseAm I a morning person? Absolutely not. But if I was, this would be the reason why I got up every morning. | ![]() Butterflies and FlowersWould you believe that when I shot this image, I wasn't even close enough to see this butterfly as anything but an orange dot? Well, it certainly zoomed in very well :) |

![]() WeedsThis flower is considered a weed. So are bluebonnets and indian paintbrushes and so many others... but that title doesn't take away from its beauty, now does it? | ![]() Texas SpringThe full view of our little patch of Texas spring - so vibrant! | ![]() White vs BlueWhich do you like better? These white bluebonnets were the only ones out of the entire field, and it was a huge field. How I spotted them, I don't know! |
![]() Violet BloomI went out one Sunday mornings just to test the settings on my camera, and I tested them on this as soon as I saw it :) I love the pattern detail on the inside of the flower, and I love the colors - yellow and purple! Who knew it would make such a combo? | ![]() Bluebonnet TwinsTwo bluebonnets pretty much all by themselves except for a few sparsely scattered smaller blooms. I loved the way it looked! | ![]() MiddayWould you believe this is a midday shot? Not sunrise, not sunset, but right smack in the middle of the day. And gorgeous :) |
![]() Wedding BluesSo I was 7 months married when I took this photo - I didn't have a camera at the time of my wedding, or else it would have been MUCH earlier. I always appreciated the look of a close up of the rings and bouquets and flowers of a wedding, and wanted that for myself. So I took it. Hey, better late than never :) | ![]() BoutonniereThis was the groom's boutonniere. As you can evidence, my wedding colors were royal blue (with a splash of animal print) | ![]() Engagement RingThis is my wedding band and engagement ring, the first set of our marriage. It was inexpensive and a rushed choice, but nevertheless, I'll forever think it beautiful because it was the start of my new life. |
